Description:
Since the property is a basement flat, it was important to carefully consider shadow, colour, and lighting to make
each room feel distinct and purposeful. As the space evolved, we produced architectural drawings initially for our
own DIY efforts and later for use by contractors. These drawings proved essential, especially since none of the
contractors were native English speakers — the clarity of the visuals helped minimize misunderstandings and
ensured smoother construction.
